London, 25 October 2013 – Today Monster.co.uk launches its first fully integrated B2B marketing campaign, spearheaded by recently appointed Marketing Director Sinead Bunting, a keen technologist and pioneer of digital and mobile recruitment marketing.

The campaign will showcase Monster’s B2B offering by tackling the challenges and issues that HR and recruitment professionals face with messaging that features mythical creatures, elephants and quirky one-liners.

The multimedia, highly visible campaign will span digital, print, social media, CRM, direct mail, PR and sponsored events with the aim of driving traffic to a dedicated microsite www.monsterhrsolutions.co.uk where professionals can find out more about Monster’s cutting-edge HR technology innovations, products and services.

The digital, search and social strategy will target professionals across mobile, tablet and desktop to ensure Monster is present with messaging throughout the working day, all driving traffic to the responsively designed microsite to tell the HR technology story in the most accessible way possible.

Digital display ads will feature on relevant B2B and HR professional networks, and keywords have been set up using Google search marketing. Promoted posts on Twitter, targeting HR professionals, will help to further engage the audience.

The print buy will see full-page insertions featured in publications including People Management, Recruiter and HR Director.

In addition, public relations outreach and blogger engagement will look to drive additional awareness for the campaign, whilst sponsorship of a number of industry events including the Personnel Today awards and CIPD Annual Conference, will provide Monster with a direct opportunity to engage and speak with its audience.

Commenting on the campaign Sinead Bunting, said: “Finding the right candidate and attracting and retaining the best talent can be a labour-intensive, costly challenge for recruiters and HR professionals. We truly believe we have the technology and solutions to alleviate many of the issues recruiters and HR folk face day-in, day-out.”

“By demonstrating our understanding of the challenges, in what is hopefully seen as a witty, empathetic way, we aim to raise awareness of our products and services and be considered as a possible partner.”

Ms Bunting appointed design and brand agency Group Brand, who specialise in B2B and recruitment marketing, to bring the Monster HR technology story to life, with concepts put through extensive focus group testing prior to final creation.

OMD International is leading media planning for the campaign, which is due to run through to the end of Q1 2014.

News

News is information about current events. Journalists provide news through many different media, based on word of mouth, printing, postal systems, broadcasting, electronic communication, and also on their own testimony, as witnesses of relevant events.

Common topics for news reports include war, government, politics, education, health, the environment, economy, business, and entertainment, as well as athletic events, quirky or unusual events. Government proclamations, concerning royal ceremonies, laws, taxes, public health, criminals, have been dubbed news since ancient times.

Manual labour

Manual labour (in British English, manual labor in American English) or manual work is physical work done by people, most especially in contrast to that done by machines, and to that done by working animals. It is most literally work done with the hands (the word “manual” comes from the Latin word for hand), and, by figurative extension, it is work done with any of the muscles and bones of the body. For most of human prehistory and history, manual labour and its close cousin, animal labour, have been the primary ways that physical work has been accomplished. Mechanisation and automation, which reduce the need for human and animal labour in production, have existed for centuries, but it was only starting in the 18th and 19th centuries that they began to significantly expand and to change human culture. To be implemented, they require that sufficient technology exist and that its capital costs be justified by the amount of future wages that they will obviate.
