Starting salary£25,000 – £28,000 (dependant on experience)

Working hours 9am-6pm, Mon – Fri

Main Duties to include

Daily reconciliations/client money controls

Assisting with the production of daily and monthly P&L

Assist with the production of statutory accounts

Maintain Quick Books general ledger

Maintain Lending Static file

Assist with bank funding (Requests/Reporting)

Producing redemption/completion statements for loans

Providing support to other members of the team

Experience/Skills required –

Have previous experience in an accounting role or similar.

Have a basic knowledge of lending products.

Possess good numeracy skills.

Be enthusiastic and willing to learn.

The company works on a wide array of interesting projects from the technical due diligence of $8billion network acquisitions, to solar PV grid connections, to working with foreign governments and advising on network privatization and regulation. This could be deep technical power system studies and network modeling through to broader techno commercial work split between the T&D and renewable energy sectors including conceptual design and feasibility studies. Due to extensive growth, we are seeking to hire Principal and Senior Level Power Systems Consultants to join the team in either Newcastle or London.

THE ROLE
Reports to Department Manager.
Undertaking network planning studies and power system analysis supporting senior engineers.
Contributing to the engineering consultancy projects, which include technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and concept design.
Being proven and competent in electrical engineering and able to work/lead project teams compromising of technical engineers or power systems studies groups.
Applying judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques.
Willing to accommodate short term travel for project assignments will be preferred.
Abel to attract new business and manage relationships with key customers.

REQUIREMENTS
Good appreciation of power systems engineering.
Educated to a Masters or PhD level in Electrical or electronic engineering.
Understanding of power systems analysis techniques and tools preferred.
Competent with MS Office software. Strong competence with Excel is preferred.
Power systems analysis and studies using PowerFactory DigSilent, EMTP and CDEGs software.

Job Title: Telecoms Engineer

Salary: £18-25k+ depending on experience.

Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking for a Telecoms Engineer to join their Operations Team based in Dorchester. The primary functions of the role will be installing & configuring Telecoms solutions and providing technical support for these products.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Solving technical problems and investigating escalated issues.
* Reviewing support cases to enable a correct allocation of priorities.
* Deployment of specialised troubleshooting solutions to help ensure the intricacies of a challenging issue is captured. This may include, but is not limited to onsite installations or replacements of various hardware components, software patching, diagnostic testing, and the use of remote control tools used to access the user’s machine for the purpose of troubleshooting and finding a solution to the problem.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Knowledge of networking components, VoIP, Linux operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
* Experience in telecoms with an understanding of SIP, SS7 (ISUP+SCCP), SMS.
* Working knowledge of Linux.
* High levels of energy, coupled with an enthusiastic, motivated and positive approach to technology.

A leading technology company requires an experienced Cable Assembler / Solderer to assist with the assembly of their products.

This is an initial 6 week contract with the view to being extended, should orders require it.

Cable Assembler Requirements:

* Prior experience as a Cable Assembler in an electronics assembly environment, with extensive hand soldering
* Ideally you will be trained to IPC-610 IPC-620 or J-Std, but this is not essential
* Must be capable of wiring and general assembly
* ESD awareness and understanding is also a bonus, as is any ISO standard experience (19001)
* Must possess a good understanding of engineering drawings and be able to assemble products accordingly
* Must possess a basic knowledge of electronic components
* Excellent fine motor skills
* Good hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail and eyesight is essential

Cable Assembler Responsibilities:

* To solder and assemble cable products as requested
* Follow engineering diagrams and pick up on errors where applicable
* To be responsible for the quality of your production and assembly output
* To report to the Production Supervisor / Line Manager on potential problems in the production process, any shortages / delays and additional requirements as they arise
* To liaise with the Production Supervisor on current production targets, schedules and workload

– My client employs about 255 staff, of which 154 are based at their South East London/Kent Office.
– The M&E Sustainability Team has 19 people based in South East London/Kent and 9 People based in London.
– The CAD team does a bit of both CAD and Revit. In South East London/Kent, about 80% of the work is CAD but the amount of Revit is and will continue to increase.
– They have an active Sports and Social Club who organise things like cocktail making, go-karting, golf afternoons, a panic room experience, Summer BBQ casino nights etc.

Position

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our M&E Team

Duties will include:

– Develop and present project design proposals to the client following review of the external brief and internal discussions so that client requirements are met, acting as either lead consultant or as member of a design team.
